Entertaiment — An agreeable occupation for the mind; a diversion or amusement: Solving crossword puzzles is an entertainment for many.
A popular activity, entertainment can be enjoyed at a variety of scales – from personal choice from an ever-expanding catalogue of pre-recorded products to a meal adapted for two to a banquet for thousands and to performances designed for the whole world. Entertainment is often thought of as amusement, but it may have a more serious purpose – as in ceremonies, religious festivals and satire.
